Australian Dust Control installs Shaker Dust Collector at Plasdip Australian Dust Control custom designs energy efficient dust collectors suitable for a wide range of industries. Plasdip, a powder coating company in Sydney commissioned Australian Dust Control to design, manufacture and install a Shaker Dust Collector for its powder coating facility. The customer needed to update from its old Shaker Dust Collector which was no longer running efficiently and the technology was outdated. Australian Dust Control replaced this old Shaker Dust Collector with a new Shaker Dust Collector system which was fitted with a 15kw fan. The new Shaker Dust Collector complies with all OH & S regulations providing a clean and safe working environment. The advanced technology of the Shaker Dust Collector system installed by Australian Dust Control allows for the waste powder to be recycled. The waste powder draws through the Shaker Dust Collector filter system and is discharged into a waste bin. It is then fed back into the powder coating process with the end result being that there is no waste. Plasdip chose the option to have the Shaker Dust Collector fitted with an energy saving Variable Speed Drive resulting in substantial and ongoing energy savings for the customer.
