Sekisui Pilon commissionedAustralian Dust Control to custom design and install a dust and fume extraction system for one of its manufacturing lines. The manufacturing process involves heating the plastic therefore producing dust, fumes and odour. The solution from Australian Dust Control was to design a Static Filtration System with a pure air filter and an activated carbon filtration system to control the odour. This new filtration system allows only clean air to be discharged to the atmosphere. The dust and fumes created during the heating process get burnt off and a suction hood at this point draws the air through the filtration system.
