Range of cyclones from Australian Dust Control Australian Dust Control continues to supply their expanding range of cyclones to a wide range of industries. A recent installation for Castaway Paper, a leading company in the cardboard carton industry, needed 6 only suction inlets at the discharge points on their carton making machines. The cardboard extraction system involved the connection of chopper fans, located at each machine, transporting the waste cardboard to the cyclone via modular ductwork. Once in the cyclone, the waste cardboard discharged into a continuous feed baling press. Australian Dust Controls cyclone system allows for a 24 hr non-stop waste handling. In addition, Australian Dust Control incorporated a VSD variable speed drive to the chopper fans to maintain the required velocity of the waste material to the cyclone. The cyclone also had individual non return flaps fitted at the duct entries on the cyclone, so if one machine was off line waste material could not travel back into that ductwork. 2-Feb-2007
