Cardiff Joinery, a leading manufacturer of timber windows chose Australian Dust Control to assist in upgrading their current waste disposal method which was by means of a Cyclone Dust Collector. This form of dust collector was inadequate to meet their current needs as they were located in close proximity to residential shops and needed a better dust collector system to do the job more efficiently. Australian Dust Control upgraded their existing Cyclone Dust Collector to a Shaker Dust Collector with a 15 kw fan. This fan of the new Shaker Dust Collector was fitted with a sound enclosure and an exhaust air stack to minimise the noise and to comply with regulations for operation near a commercial and residential area.The waste produced in the manufacture of these timber windows is sanding dust and shavings.
