Castaway Paper uses Australian Dust Control’s cyclone dust collector Australian Dust Control provides efficient dust collector to its customers. Australian Dust Control is also dedicated to helping manufacturers minimise waste in their quest for a green friendly factory. Castaway Paper, a well known cardboard carton manufacturer commissioned Australian Dust Control to update their existing system of manual collection of waste to a new cyclone dust collector when they relocated to their new factory in Silverwater. Australian Dust Control designed, manufactured and installed a cyclone dust collector with a series of 5 chopper fans each with a 7.5kw rating. The waste produced in the manufacturing process is cardboard cut-offs and the chopper fans reduce this waste into smaller pieces. This discharge then feeds from these chopper fans to the inlet of the cyclone dust collector where it then discharges from the base of the cyclone dust collector to a continuous bailing press. The cardboard waste is then sold by the manufacturer for recycling. 12-Nov-2007
