Australian Dust Control installs shaker dust collector at Sleep City’s new facility Australian Dust Control designs and manufactures high performance, energy efficient duct collector suitable for many industries. Sleep City, a bedding manufacturer was expanding their operation and relocating to Wetherall Park in NSW. They commissioned Australian Dust Control to design, manufacture and install a shaker dust collector with a 15kw fan to update their old cyclone dust collector. The new facility has 8 hand sanding tables which required high pressure suction for each hand sander. Australian Dust Control, renowned for their innovative dust collector designs was able to design a unique shaker dust collector system which consisted of 2 separate fans in the one system with waste discharging into a 3 cubic metre tippler bin. The design incorporated a high pressure fan which was connected directly to the 8 hand sanders and the medium pressure 15kw fan connected to all the other machines. 15-Nov-2007
