Australian Dust Control
installs Spray Booth at Hawker-Pacific
Australian Dust Control has an extensive range
of dust and fume extraction equipment which includes a Spray Booth
suitable to be custom designed to meet the individual needs of each
customer.
Hawker-Pacific located at Bankstown Airport was
upgrading its workshop facility and commissioned Australian Dust
Control to design and install a 2 metre dry bench Spray Booth.
The Spray Booth provided the workshop with a clean
and safe working environment complying with OH&S standards.
The Spray Booth installed by Australian Dust Control was used to
extract fumes during the process of spraying aeronautical parts
with a two part apoxy paint.
A 5.5kw axial flow fan was fitted to the Spray Booth. The fumes
are filtered and the relief air discharges to the atmosphere as
clean air.
A 6 metre high stack was required as part of the design to eliminate
contact with adjoining buildings.
The design of the Spray Booth had to take into account a tight
access for the installation.
Australian Dust Control therefore designed the galvanised sheet
panels as flat pack to then be brought on site to be assembled.
Australian Dust Control has a wide range of flexible options available
and the Spray Booth installed for HawkerPacific at Bankstown Airport
is just one example.
